Promising young midfielder, Alex Wallsworth sustained a nasty injury during a recent friendly at home to Ambrose Barlow. Manager and father figure Graham Wallsworth took the lad to Bolton A&E where the wound required 4 stiches as it was too deep to be glued. Team Physio, Jane Wallsworth, revealed that this is the player's second facial scar. The first occured very early on in his career in an off the pitch tussle with fellow team mate Liam Walsh. Jane commented that Boxing may have been a safer sport. Alex is expected to return to full fitness within a fortnight. Although Alex's mother is upset by the scar, Alex thinks it's cool.

  • Saw the picture and realised that if we stand Alex next to Grandma Pat we have Stereo Action Man Scars - just thought I would ruin the 'coolness'
