John and Becky's day

John has reported on a 'better than normal' Monday after his class went to the Bridgewater Hall for a conference hosted by Michael Rosen, organised by creative-partnerships. This was the culmination of an interviewing and journalism project that their Yr9 English group have been involved in with help from BBC journalist Steve Rawling and Liam McCormick from the Manchester Royal Exchange Theatre. Today four of John & Becky's friends had the opportunity to question - amongst others the Rt Hon Tessa Jowell MP, with beauties such as 'Because you support top-up fees how are you going to ensure that the poorest people get the chance to develope their creativity?' - I bet she didn't see that one coming!
